Mykayla Sheets DOULA, OUR FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Mykayla Sheets, a Certified Full-Spectrum Doula based in Visalia, California. Born in the Central Valley, raised in the Bay Area, and now back home with my family, I’m deeply connected to this community. I’m also a proud mom of five, married to my husband David, who runs a local electrical business. 

My journey started in education, graduating from Fresno Pacific University in 2019 with a goal of becoming a special education teacher. I worked in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), supporting families from birth through elementary school. This experience shaped my passion for empowerment, advocacy, and creating individualized care plans that truly support families. 

After healing from my own traumatic birth experiences, I felt called to serve others in a more personal, meaningful way. As a Full Spectrum Doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—along with support through loss. I’m here to guide you, whether this is your first birth or your fourth, helping you navigate local hospitals, doctors, and birthing options to create the experience that’s right for you.
